E LIGHT ELECTRIC SERVICES, INC., a Denver based commercial electrical contractor is currently looking for an Electrical Project Manager.

Project Manager Responsibilities include the ability to accept accountability for each respective project, with regards to scheduling control of budgeted cost, on time completion of the project schedule, and maximize gross profits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Manage Project Start-Up per Start-Up List
  • Review, negotiate and manage project contracts
  • Planning and Layout initial plans - start layout with Foreman
  • Prepare project schedule
  • Manage TIP process from job start-up throughout entire project
  • Review Submittals and Shop Drawings
  • Receive cut sheets and review for accuracy
  • Make necessary changes for product performance
  • Coordinate with specifications all submitted materials
  • Manage all Material, Equipment and Tool Scheduling with Related Costs
  • Manage Job Field productivity and Manpower
  • Material staging and handling
  • Be aggressive and proactive
  • Keep morale high
  • Cost effective installations
  • Follow plan and layout
  • Schedule manpower according to production
  • Work with VP Operation on manpower schedule on a weekly basis
  • Develop Field Personnel
  • Create good communication
  • Follow field personnel responsibility chart
  • Keep moral high on each project
  • Manage all field policies and procedures
  • Change Orders
  • Monitor all changes on job
  • Billing Construction
  • Ensure that billing matches current contract value including change orders
  • Bill projects on time and accurately utilizing project approved forms
  • Closeout Documentation as builds, owner training, returns/Clean off
  • Assure installations per plans and specs and verify completion

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Previous experience as an electrical project manager is preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of the electrical field
  • Familiarity with electrical materials and construction methods, including requirements

for different construction types (commercial, industrial, and residential)

  • Thorough knowledge of NEC Code and NFPA 72 is essential
  • Strong computer skills, which include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Express, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

  • GED or H.S. diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Project
  • Must pass drug screen, MVR and criminal background check
