  • Job type: 1099, service-based compensation
  • Location: Service area will be 30-40 mile radius of residence

The International Student Exchange (ISE) is thrilled to announce the expansion of its high school international exchange student program across the beautiful state of Iowa We're on the lookout for enthusiastic and community-minded individuals to join our team as Community Representatives and help us create unforgettable cultural exchange experiences. This is a unique opportunity to connect with local families, schools, and organizations, and play a vital role in bringing people together through international education.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with local community members and high schools to identify and screen potential host families
  • Conduct interviews and home visits to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
  • Match American host families with international high school students based on compatibility and shared interests
  • Provide ongoing support to host families and students throughout the exchange experience
  • Promote cultural understanding and global connection within the community
  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional personality
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to professionally build trust and maintain confidential relationships
  • Interest in global cultures and community engagement
  • Experience in education, community outreach, or customer service is a plus
