Summary:

The lot patroller provides customer service for the intake and/or release of towed vehicles and patrols the lot for safety and security issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Patrol the full perimeter of Ewing Bros Inc. properties located on A Street and others as assigned when needed throughout their shift.
  • Alert manager(s) and proper authorities when an unauthorized individual is on the property or stealing.
  • Familiar with using the lot patrol check-in system to ensure each area is patrolled regularly during the employee shift.
  • Assist and/or accompany customers to their vehicles for any personal belongings, when necessary.
  • Assists customers in releasing vehicles.
  • Inform clerks if vehicles are not where the paperwork indicates, so the information is updated in our system.
  • Make sure Insurance, E&E, and/or Stock Vehicles have been processed and numbered.
  • Make sure all registrations, releases of vehicles, visits, and set outs are completed.
  • Mild clean-up of the property and basic facility maintenance.
  • Perform all other duties that may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license.

Language Skills:

  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to accurately use a calculator.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
