Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote comfort and independence.
  • Provide medication reminders and monitor health status, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and assist with feeding when necessary.
  • Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Offer companionship through engaging conversations, recreational activities, and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
  • Follow care plans meticulously, documenting care provided and any observations or incidents accurately.
  • Coordinate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure consistent and comprehensive care delivery.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control procedures to protect both clients and yourself at all times.

  • Reliable time management skills to ensure punctuality and consistency in care routines.
  • Physical stamina for assisting with mobility support, transfers, and household tasks throughout the day.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with medical-surgical environments or post-acute care settings is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to infection control, medication administration, and emergency response procedures.
  • Experience working in home settings or outpatient environments is preferred; teaching hospital experience or Level I Trauma Center exposure is a plus for understanding complex health needs.
