This excellent opportunity requires support of existing Microsoft Cloud across 250+ environments, 1000+ apps, 3000+flows, 1200+ Power BI workspaces. It requires extensive support focusing on the integration and optimization of Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, AvePoint Online Services, Exchange Online, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot, as well as experience in migrations, security, and governance practices.

POSITION: Solutions Architect

LOCATION: Remote

The Architecture Consultants provide enterprise-level architectural oversight for the certificate automation platform and its integration with IRS's M365 environment, roadmap, and Zero Trust initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise-scale architecture patterns for certificate automation workflows.

  • Create dependency maps for all IRS M365 services.

  • Evaluate new M365 capabilities (Copilot, Teams integrations, identity features).

  • Recommend modernization pathways and scalability enhancements.

  • Produce architecture diagrams, data flow maps, configuration standards, and security models.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years in M365/Azure/identity architecture.

  • Experience designing automation solutions and multi-workload systems.

  • Strong understanding of PKI, certificates, and service integration boundaries.

  • US Citizenship (Required)

Desired Skills

  • Microsoft Architect certifications (AZ-305, MS-900).

Clearance

  • Ability to obtain IRS Public Trust or higher
