Our client, a distinguished
luxury hotel in Los Angeles County
, is seeking a talented
Assistant Director of Food & Beverage
to oversee restaurant, bar/lounge, in-room dining, and banquet operations. This is a
highly confidential search
for a polished, hands-on leader with a passion for guest experience and operational excellence across multiple outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations for multiple F&B outlets including restaurant, bar/lounge, IRD, and banquet services.
- Partner with the Director of F&B and Executive Chef to refine service execution and brand consistency.
- Lead and develop teams within a
unionized environment
while maintaining strong employee relations. - Ensure Forbes-level service delivery and consistent guest satisfaction.
- Oversee revenue generation, cost control, and labor management.
- Maintain an active floor presence to support training, service, and guest engagement.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of progressive
Food & Beverage leadership
within a
luxury hotel or resort
environment. - Union experience required.
- Proven success managing
restaurant, bar/lounge, IRD, and banquet operations. - Strong experience in
high-volume bar/lounge environments
is highly preferred. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills with a refined approach to hospitality.
