We are seeking a Renewable Asset Manager to support a diverse portfolio of projects across the US.

Position Overview

The role combines technical understanding, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination to ensure assets operate efficiently, compliantly, and profitably throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Performance & Operations

  • Monitor asset performance, including energy production, availability, equipment reliability, and O&M activities.
  • Identify performance gaps and underperformance drivers, and work with internal teams and external service providers to implement corrective actions.
  • Track KPIs and benchmark asset performance against budgets and industry standards.

Financial Management & Analysis

  • Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for assigned assets.
  • Analyze revenues, operating costs, and profitability, and identify opportunities for value enhancement.
  • Support cash flow management and provide inputs for investor and management reporting.

Contract & Commercial Management

  • Manage key project contracts, including O&M agreements, EPC warranties, off-take agreements, land leases, and supplier contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and proactively manage claims, variations, and disputes.
  • Support contract negotiations, amendments, and renewals as required.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as local and national energy regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory developments relevant to renewable energy projects and assess potential impacts on asset performance and revenues.

Asset Optimization & Value Creation

  • Develop and implement asset optimization strategies, including technical upgrades, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Evaluate new technologies, operational enhancements, and market opportunities to improve long-term asset value.

Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage operational, financial, regulatory, and market risks.
  • Develop mitigation measures and contingency plans to minimize adverse impacts on asset performance.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key interface with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, engineering, and development teams.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as O&M providers, grid operators, regulators, investors, and local authorities.
  • Ensure clear, timely, and professional communication aligned with project objectives.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare periodic performance, financial, and risk reports for management and investors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to asset management activities.
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • A master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., renewable energy, project management, finance) is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project development, and operational processes.
  • Solid financial analysis and reporting skills; financial modeling experience is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
