Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and supporting food preparation activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and preparing simple dishes under the guidance of chefs.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment.
  • Support the team during busy service periods by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are tidy.
  • Help with banquet setups and breakdowns as needed for special events.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in food service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal preparation and service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is an advantage.
  • Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of food handling safety regulations is beneficial.
