Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Construction Project Coordinator for immediate hire to work in our Pompano Beach location.

Monday - Friday 7:30-4:30

Responsibilities for the Constructions Project Coordinator:

· Work closely with Project Manager, Site Superintendent, and vendor partners to manage project and schedules and orders.

-Coordinate permit applications, assure all proper/required permits are pulled for the projects. Schedule inspections as necessary under direction of Site Superintendent. Track inspections for pass/fail as necessary.

· Prepare purchase orders and track status of each for delivery and receipt on site.

· Learn site acquisition process to allow for efficiency in programs and processes, relieving Project Manager(s) of administrative duties as projects grow in complexity.

· Manage project setup, transmittals, and reporting.

· Upload site status reports (daily reports, toolbox talks etc).

· Other related activities include data entry utilizing Quickbooks, Excel and other programs

· Complete the setup of new projects which includes transferring estimating files into the job folder, creating job books (as needed) and setting up project in construction software

· Coordinate the submittal process which includes creating submittals based on the project drawings and specifications, direction from the Project Manager and trades.

· Also maintaining and tracking submittals both in the Construction Software and the shared drive on the server.

· Maintain project Log on construction software and

· Assist the PM in the close out process by requesting and assembling the O&M (Operation & Maintenance) data, Warranties and As- Built Drawings, forwarding to PM for review.

· Type and assemble required field data, such as look ahead Schedules, Electrical Panel Schedules, Equipment, deliveries

· Maintain archive files and archiving of completed projects that are out of warranty.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· A minimum of two (2) years construction office experience, preferably in the Electrical field.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel as well as Quickbooks.

-Ability to work alone or in groups.

-Must be organized and detail oriented.

Pay: $52, $70,000.00 per year
