We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher to join our team in Burbank, CA for the current school year.

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

Location: Burbank, CA

Position Type: Full-Time, Current School Year

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Start Date: Immediately

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for preschool-aged students with special needs
  • Provide direct instruction using evidence-based early childhood and special education practices
  • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
  • Collaborate with families, general education staff, specialists, and service providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field
  • Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Early Childhood Special Education authorization preferred)
  • Experience working with children ages 3–5 in a special education or early childhood setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet a wide range of learner needs
