Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales, and cash handling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and giving change.
  • Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Support other team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service within a quick service or fast-food restaurant is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or similar environment involving food handling or serving is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in basic math, retail math, or grocery math for cash handling and sales transactions.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is desirable.
