Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with a specialization in Cisco Meraki to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and transition of customer networks to Cisco Catalyst/Meraki solutions across the US and Canada. This position is ideal for someone passionate about building secure, scalable, cloud-managed networks while also mentoring others and driving technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Cisco Meraki Network Design & Deployment

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and cloud-managed network infrastructures using Cisco Meraki switches, firewalls (MX), wireless access points (MR), and cameras (MV).
• Lead customer transitions from legacy systems to Meraki, including planning, cutovers, and support.
• Customize Meraki dashboard configurations to align with customer needs and security standards.
• Implement SD-WAN, VPN, and Layer 7 application control policies using Meraki MX.

Network Operations & Maintenance

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot deployed Meraki environments to ensure continuous availability and performance.
• Use Control Hub and Meraki tools for proactive health monitoring, alerting, and optimization.
• Apply Quality of Service (QoS) best practices to ensure optimal performance for voice, video, and critical applications.

Webex Calling Integration

• Support customer deployments of Cisco Webex Calling, with emphasis on network readiness, security policies, and voice quality optimization over Meraki infrastructure or other networking enviroments.

Security Solutions

• Deploy and manage integrated security using Meraki MX firewalls, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco DUO, and other Cisco Secure portfolio components.
• Design and enforce segmentation, client VPN, and site-to-site VPN policies for secure remote and branch access.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Develop detailed documentation including network diagrams, playbooks, and post-implementation reports.
• Provide mentoring and technical leadership to internal teams and junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist, or similar certifications (required or in progress).
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience deploying and supporting Cisco Meraki networks.
• Experience transitioning customers from traditional network platforms to Meraki.
• Familiarity with Cisco Webex Calling and optimizing Meraki environments for voice services.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, wireless technologies, and cloud-based management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
