Compensation:

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to identify communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans focused on functional goals.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy aligned with best practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Document services accurately and efficiently using point-of-service EMR systems.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques for continued progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide weekend coverage as needed to support seven-day therapy service requirements.
  • Maintain clear, compliant, and timely documentation—including discharge summaries.
  • Attend care team meetings to report on patient progress and plan of care.
  • Orient patients to services, ensuring clarity and documenting any risks appropriately.

What We're Looking For

  • Clinical experience or strong fieldwork background in SNF or geriatric settings preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of speech-language therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, OBRA, LCDs, and payer compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills—both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented and capable of working independently in fast-paced settings.
  • Compassionate, professional demeanor with a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current, active SLP license in the state of Arizona.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered.
  • Proficient with EMR systems and knowledgeable about HIPAA compliance.
  • Availability to work PRN, including weekends, as needed.

Pay: From $58.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
