Bartender

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service while crafting a variety of beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are stocked.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
• Collaborate with catering staff during events, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing.
• Assist in brewing beverages as needed, contributing to the overall beverage program.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or banquet setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with retail math for accurate transaction processing.
• Basic math skills to ensure precise measurements in drink preparation.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of catering services is a plus, enhancing the overall guest experience.
• Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications or licenses.
