We are seeking a professional, experienced caregivers available to work full-time 2-8pm Tuesdays & Wednesday and every other weekends 8am-8pm caring for a client in their personal home in the West University place area.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being.
- Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, medication management, and toileting.
- Engage with the client through companionship and emotional support to promote mental stimulation and over-all well being.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident living areas, including laundry and housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes in condition to the agency Administrator.
- Ensure client rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Assist in daily ambulation as needed.
Skills
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
- Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and organization within living spaces.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the client, family, co-workers, and agency Administrators.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and assist residents safely while adhering to proper techniques.
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to providing respectful care.
- Dependable and equipped with reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent availability.
