Staff Quality Compliance Technician (Onsite)

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor and/or oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), processes, procedures, requirements, contracts and metrics, to ensure the organization's compliance.

  • Prepare and maintain Quality systems (documentation, processes and training).

  • Evaluate the compliance and effectiveness of the QMS of business sites, and programs.

  • Work with other functions to ensure systems are compliant, efficient and can deliver to customer requirements.

  • Develop, conduct, and support audits including providing feedback on non-compliance and corrective action(s).

  • Determine if all products and processes are aligned with regulatory standards.

  • Perform site audits

  • Participate/shadow external audits (Nadcap, AS9100, 1st, 2nd party, and customers)

  • Perform special process validation activity

  • QMS Gap Analysis between customer and central quality requirements against site procedures.

  • Manage site training database and training matrix

  • Manage 5S program

  • Create Quality Alerts

  • Receive certifications from outside services

  • Processing site procedures ECNs (Engineering Change Notices)

  • May be required to perform other related duties, as necessary

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. 

  • Experience in a Quality/Compliance environment

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills require minimal supervision.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Good communication skills (written/verbal) with an aptitude for conveying complex technical information to a wide variety of audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to accomplish common goals and provide status as needed.

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
