We are looking for individuals to work in Delaware County with our consumers with developmental disabilities.
What You'll Do:
You will help individuals with disabilities live fulfilling lives. You will make a difference, be involved in the community, the nation, and even travel the world
Personalized Care and Support: Provide care that focuses on each individuals needs. Encourage independence and inclusion.
Community Integration: Help individuals in being active and involved in their community.
Empowerment Through Skill Development: Support learning in life skills, communication, and confidence building.
Behavioral Support with Dignity: Use positive behavior strategies that show respect and care. Respond to challenges with empathy and support.
Be an Advocate: Support the rights, choices, and voices of individuals. Encourage independence and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education: 2-year degree preferred.
Passion for Inclusion: You believe in supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting community inclusion.
Experience: Previous experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, and flexibility to support individual needs.
Other Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, proficiency in English.
