The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in enabling the success of the sales team by providing comprehensive operational and administrative support. This position is responsible for generating insightful reports, managing sales and opportunity tracking tools, maintaining CRM data accuracy, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to help drive efficiency, optimize sales processes, and support overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and effective troubleshooting support for customer orders, account inquiries, and related issues.
- Prepare and deliver accurate reports and data analyses to assist the sales team in decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain, manage, and optimize CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Oversee sales tracking tools and generate regular reports on critical metrics and activities.
- Collaborate with sales directors and managers to develop and implement targeted sales strategies.
- Stay informed about new product releases and feature updates, ensuring timely communication and alignment with the sales team.
- Partner with Product Management, Sales Account Managers, and Customer Account Representatives to refine sales processes and resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with reporting and data management tools such as Cognos, SAP, and CRM systems.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage sales metrics for actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, fostering productive collaboration across departments.
- Solid understanding of product lines within the Personal Care division.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities combined with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Personal Care Go-To-Market Strategy and the ability to align activities with strategic objectives.
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $75,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
