Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Overview

Community Health Partners is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary Lung Nodule Program & Interventional Pulmonary services. The Lung Program at Community Health System is one of the largest programs in the nation focused on early diagnosis and expedited treatment of lung cancer. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will evaluate & follow up patients with lung nodules in clinic, assist in preparing patients for biopsy procedures and evaluate in-patient consultation & follow ups related to interventional pulmonology in-patients. This provider will play a key role in ensuring timely, thorough, and coordinated care within the Interventional Pulmonology & Lung nodule Program. Depending on the level of interest & training, there is also an opportunity to perform certain procedures and assist the Interventional Pulmonologist with advanced thoracic endoscopic procedures.

Qualifications

Education
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required
• Credentialed by the CMC Medical Staff Office as an Allied Health Professional and privileged to perform Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Standardized Procedures required

Experience
• 2 years of clinical experience in the area of specialty preferred
