The Asset Protection & Operations Sr Analyst plays a key role in assessing, developing, and implementing initiatives that support store and field teams in driving operational excellence, safety, and loss prevention. This role partners cross-functionally to design and execute projects, process improvements, and technology solutions that enhance store performance, improve customer and associate experiences, and mitigate risk. The Analyst provides actionable insights through data analysis, manages project execution, and ensures continuous improvement through measurement, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the development and implementation of operational and Asset Protection (AP) initiatives
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end execution of store-level and enterprise projects from concept through implementation and post-project evaluation
- Analyze operational and AP data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
- Partner with AP, Operations, and Safety business leads to develop and implement process improvement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and shrink reduction
- Manage cross-functional relationships to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives that impact stores and field operations
- Support the development and tracking of project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Facilitate the creation and delivery of training and communication materials to drive adoption of new processes and technologies
- Identify and assess risks related to operational and AP initiatives, developing mitigation plans and escalation strategies as needed.
- Serve as an administrator and support resource for AP, operations, and Safety systems, including case management and awareness platforms
- Provide real-time guidance to stores and field partners regarding operational procedures, AP policies, and technology use
- Develop and maintain documentation for all new initiatives, including policies, procedures, and standard operating processes
- Leverage technology and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to monitor project performance, report key performance indicators (KPIs), and track ROI
- Perform ad hoc market, operational, and competitive analysis to support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Business, Management, Operations, Technology, or related field or equivalent experience OR 5-7 Years experience in Operations, project coordination, analytics, or Asset Protection roles, preferably in a retail environment
- 5-7 Years Experience Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- 5-7 Years Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- 3-5 Years Experience with Salesforce and SQL Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- High initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Preferred Skills/Education
- 1-2 Years of experience in a service or retail operations role with an emphasis on safety, shrink reduction, or operational performance improvement
- Experience with service management and case tracking tools such as ServiceBench, Mappoint/PowerMap, or equivalent systems
- Familiarity with capacity management, risk assessment, and field support operations
