Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety to deliver exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to menu creation and ensuring high-quality meal service for our guests. Candidates with experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry are encouraged to apply.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to support culinary creativity and efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
  • Support food presentation and plating to meet visual standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to uphold health standards.
  • Assist with catering events or special functions as needed.
  • Contribute to inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of shortages.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related culinary role; restaurant or fine dining experience is preferred.
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
  • Familiarity with menu planning, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures.
  • Experience working in the food industry, including dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of catering services or serving is advantageous.
  • Culinary education or certification is beneficial but not required. This position provides an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals eager to grow their skills within a supportive team environment dedicated to delivering outstanding cuisine.

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
