Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining a positive experience for our clients. The Driver will operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, and may be required to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and courier vans to deliver goods across designated routes.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques.
  • Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Assist with warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and organizing inventory.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation.

Experience

  • Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred.
  • Experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle with manual transmission is highly desirable.
  • Warehouse experience including the use of forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with strong communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type, with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
