Construction Safety Professional

Job Description
We are looking for certified and detail-oriented Safety Professionals to join our team in Dallas , TX
*A construction and OSHA background is required as this role is a safety driven industrial position.
You will be required to visit various sites around the Dallas area to ensure the below:
Roles And Responsibilities*

• Ensure that our AMTS Safety/EHS Program is implemented and documented as to all job site safety requirements and/or our AMTS requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and maintain outside professional contacts.
• Work in cooperation with the AMTS field administrators, Project Managers, and the Corporate Office in regards to all EHS related issues.
• Be at the work site daily during working hours for the purpose of inspection to determine compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety rules.
• Investigate and prepare all accidents and injury reports and distribute according to customer and AMTS policy.
• Coordinate safety training activities as to site requirements.
• Ensure EHS program and Safety Data Sets (SDSs) are received from suppliers and properly filed.
• Provide necessary SDSs to each work area according to chemicals used.
• Notify the AMTS Project Manager of any unusual or special safety, health, or environmental hazards on the job and provide guidelines and direction as to performing the specific task, while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.
• Require all of our contractor and subcontractor personnel to comply with applicable EHS regulations.
• Direct and coordinate EHS activities applicable to the project.
• Guarantee that foremen are aware of and comply with requirements so that safe practices and conditions are maintained on the site at all times.
• Review all accidents with the Project Manager, submit accident reports, and ensure corrective action is taken to alleviate the cause.
• Monitor employee Pure Safety training.
• Assure required safety posters are available and posted at the job site.
• Ensure that all crews have preformed their Daily Pre-Task Plans and review these for correctness.

Position Requirements
*Current OSHA 510 Certification*
Valid Drivers License as you will be required to visits various sites around Dallas.
