Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance and turn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with staff and tenants to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all maintenance operations.

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
  • Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or facility management, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.
  • This position would be responsible for full property turns as well as on call maintenance

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with team members and residents.
  • Experience in maintenance is preferred required.
  • Must have own tools and transportation.
  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with residents and staff.
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a team is a plus.
