GentleHands Home Care is seeking a dedicated and dependable male caregiver to join our compassionate team in Dixon, CA. In this part-time role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference by helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

As a caregiver with GentleHands, you'll provide hands-on support and personalized care to meet each client's unique needs, including:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and eating
  • Providing mobility support and safely assisting with transfers (up to 75 lbs)
  • Preparing and serving meals while promoting proper nutrition and hydration
  • Offering companionship and encouraging social interaction
  • Performing light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, safe environment
  • Providing medication reminders in line with agency policy
  • Accurately documenting care notes, observations, and incidents
  • Following all safety and emergency procedures
  • Collaborating with the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality service

Required Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Active Home Care Aide (HCA) ID or PER ID listed on the California Home Care Aide Registry
  • Valid California driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance for transportation to and from client visits
  • Recent TB test (completed within the last 90 days)
  • Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 lbs safely
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred
