About the Role

We're looking for a resourceful and relentless Technical Talent Sourcer to join the Flex Talent Team. This is a critical, high-impact role where you'll act as a strategic partner and sourcing expert for our Talent Partners and Engineering Leadership. You'll be responsible for identifying and engaging the top-tier, passive technical talent that will build and scale the future of our core products.

You will own the top-of-funnel strategy for our most critical and complex technical roles, building the robust, diverse talent pipelines that fuel our hyper-growth. You will be the co-designer of our sourcing strategy, mapping the talent market and building the engine that enables us to hire at scale. This position requires a technical sourcing expert with a hunter's mindset, exceptional candidate engagement skills, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.

What You'll Do
  • Strategic Sourcing: Proactively identify, engage, and activate passive, high-impact technical talent for our most critical engineering roles (e.g., Software Engineering, AI, Data Engineering, etc.).
  • Pipeline Development: Build and nurture diverse, long-term talent pipelines for future hiring needs, ensuring we are always one step ahead.
  • Creative Engagement: Move beyond LinkedIn. You'll leverage creative sourcing strategies and tools—including GitHub, Stack Overflow, technical communities, and open-source projects—to find and connect with talent where they live.
  • Candidate Experience: Act as the first point of contact and a brand ambassador for Flex. You will be responsible for creating a compelling, personalized, and world-class experience for every candidate you interact with.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Use data and market intelligence to inform your sourcing strategy, influence hiring managers, and provide insights on talent maps, competitor landscapes, and market trends.
  • Hiring Partner Alignment: Partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to deeply understand role requirements, define candidate profiles, and calibrate on talent quality. You will be a trusted advisor in the hiring process.
  • Process Management: Meticulously track all sourcing activity, candidate data, and pipeline metrics in our ATS [e.g., Greenhouse, Lever] to ensure data integrity and report on sourcing effectiveness.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a talent sourcing role (or full-cycle recruiting with a heavy sourcing focus) within a high-growth technology company or agency.
  • Proven success in sourcing for complex technical roles, such as software engineers (backend, frontend, full-stack), infrastructure engineers, or other related technical domains.
  • Expertise with modern sourcing tools and techniques (e.g., advanced Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent CRMs, and familiarity with technical platforms like GitHub).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach messages that get responses.
  • A "Hunter" Mindset: You are relentless, creative, and resourceful in your search for top talent. You don't wait for candidates to come to you.
  • Data-Obsessed: You are comfortable with sourcing metrics (pass-through rates, time-to-hire, etc.) and use them to guide your approach and tell a story.
  • Agility & Speed: You thrive in a "hyper-growth" environment where priorities can shift quickly. You know how to manage multiple high-priority searches simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong Partner: You build trust and credibility with recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers, acting as a true consultant.
  • Technical Acumen: You have a strong curiosity and understanding of the tech landscape, including different programming languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies.

The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks. For working locations in NY/NJ, the base salary pay range will be $136,000-147,000.
