Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Delivery Associate Foot Couriers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering packages and ensuring exceptional customer service while navigating various routes. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for timely and accurate deliveries.

Duties

  • Deliver packages to designated locations efficiently and safely.
  • Load and unload items from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods.
  • Navigate assigned routes using maps or GPS systems to optimize delivery times.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during the process.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.
  • Perform heavy lifting and moving of packages as required, adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus, providing familiarity with logistics operations.
  • Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate box trucks or similar vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Proficient in driving, with knowledge of route driving techniques to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, demonstrating physical stamina.
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous for warehouse duties.
  • Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is beneficial for certain delivery tasks.
