What you'll do

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and flair
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
  • Operate the POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards
  • Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies and reporting shortages promptly
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate cash handling practices
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork

Basic qualifications

  • Previous barista or coffee experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in food preparation and food service within the café or restaurant industry
  • Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety practices
  • Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros
