Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will assist in various tasks related to food preparation, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the front of house area. Your ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members will contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly as they enter the establishment and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.

- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.

- Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling orders and ensuring food items are presented attractively.

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the front of house area, including dining tables, counters, and restrooms.

- Support kitchen staff by helping with food handling and preparation as needed.

- Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required.

- Strong cash handling skills with a basic understanding of retail math.

- Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is a plus.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers and coworkers alike.

- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and customer service.

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
