As a communications specialist on our team, you'll develop creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to advance client goals, facilitate organizational change, and encourage stakeholder acceptance of processes and initiatives.
In this role, you will leverage creative thinking and a business-oriented mindset to craft compelling messages for your client and the client's workforce, including executive comms, workforce messages, web copy, original articles, FAQs, "tips and tricks," spotlights, and other content. You'll collaborate with graphic designers and other creatives to ensure each message delivers maximum impact through both words and visuals. You'll draw upon your versatility as a communications professional to create messages that accurately convey information in a compelling fashion, using basic principles of story-telling as your guide. You'll draw upon your thorough knowledge of grammar, punctuation, style, and communications best practices to draft messages that are error-free from the get-go. You'll use your strategic thinking ability to anticipate your client's needs and take initiative.

You Have:
6+ years of experience with strategic communications
Knowledge of communications industry standards, trends, and best practices, as well as fundamental principles of story-telling
Ability to quickly establish relationships of trust with senior leaders, anticipate their needs, and take initiative
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience in the Intelligence Community
Experience with executive communications
Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
