This position is hiring for an Industrial Engineering Manager role in support of Advanced Development Programs at our Palmdale, CA facility.

The Industrial Engineering Manager for Advanced Development Programs provides strategic visibility and analytical support across cost, schedule, staffing, and production capacity. By partnering closely with production operations leaders, the IE manager helps to ensure that program objectives are met on time, within budget, and with the right workforce resources. This role is pivotal in translating data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and execution excellence for high-visibility, high-risk development initiatives.

This position requires collaboration with all functional groups through the entire product lifecycle within an advanced development program fabrication and assembly environment. Candidate will have the opportunity to provide valuable solutions to multiple organizations and align program priorities.

This is a mid-career leadership opportunity where you will:

Apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques to analyze business processes and reduce waste.

Interrogate data systems and look for opportunities to surface problems and drive improvements.

Provide oversite shop floor support, including methods of creating crew plans, burn down charts and performance metrics to optimize production.

Oversee process improvement efforts, ensuring implementation and sustainment while demonstrating results.

Train stakeholders and team members on Industrial Engineering principles.

Optimize organizational structure, team communication and skill proficiencies to maintain a high performing team.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain a secret level clearance.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
