Infants are busy, curious, and full of wonder, and your job is to create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment where they can explore the world around them with confidence.You will:Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum focused on sensory exploration, early language, gross and fine motor development, and social-emotional growthFoster a consistent and comforting daily routine that supports toddlers' need for structure and securityEncourage independence through gentle guidance, responsive caregiving, and purposeful playCollaborate with fellow early childhood educators and school leadership to ensure consistency in care and developmentally appropriate practicesCommunicate daily with parents through verbal updates, digital reports, and informal check-insMaintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment aligned with licensing standards and school policiesWhat We're Looking For12 semester (or 18 quarter) units in Early Childhood Education, including coursework in child development, curriculum, and family/communityExperience working with toddlers in a licensed child care setting preferredDeep patience, nurturing instincts, and a genuine love for toddlers and early learningStrong communication skills and an ability to connect with both children and familiesReliable, collaborative, and committed to high-quality care and education To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
