Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Car Sales Automotive Detailer.  The starting rate of pay is $17.50 / hour based on a 40 hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. This position is located at 579 BRIDGEPORT AVE, MILFORD, CT, 06460.

The schedule available is:

• Monday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
• Thursday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
• Saturday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
• Sunday: OFF

We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

ResponsibilitiesThe Car Sales Automotive Detailer will clean the interior, exterior and refurbish used vehicles to prepare for sale. This employee will exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform and personal protective equipment requirements while adhering to local environmental regulations.

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Polish, wax and buff exterior of vehicles which might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Vacuum interior, floor, seats, ashtray and trunk 
• Shampoo/Clean carpets, floor mats and upholstery 
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• May use detail methods such as wet sand and clay bar 
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions 
• Apply engine degreaser application to the engine 
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies 
• Exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform requirements
• Adhere to local environmental regulations 
• Work is performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment

• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted US driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employment based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
