Responsibilities:

  • Communicate professionally with parents, partnering with them to provide the best care and education for their children.
  • Work on engaging the Kiddie Academy curriculum together with your team that ensures developmentally appropriate, individualized activities that reflect the joy of discovery.
  • Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play.
  • Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain developmental profiles for children.
  • Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and the collective interest of the children and families.
  • Clean the room after lessons are over

Qualifications

  • CDA or Associate Degree required (Early Education or related field preferred)
  • 6 months of experience working with infant/toddlers
  • Nurturing and patient teacher who has a love for infant/toddlers and how they learn
  • Ability to change diapers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of child development.
  • Exhibits the basic core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility
  • NYC Resident
