The Elementary School Teacher will be expected to follow the school's curriculum and ensure that goals and objectives are met in a timely fashion. The teacher will engage a variety of instructional approaches to match the skill(s) being taught as well as to maintain student interest (e.g., hands-on instruction, direct instruction, computer-assisted instruction, interdisciplinary instruction, etc.). Administrative support is provided.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in the field. Master's degree and certification preferred.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in Elementary grades.
Successful completion of Florida Department of Law Enforcement background screening.
Ability to differentiate classroom instruction based on student abilities.
Ability to effectively communicate student progress to parents.
Team player - - willingness to collaborate, share, and be flexible.
