Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, and presented to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to our residents' overall experience.

Shift:

  • 7:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m.
  • Shift rotation

Responsibilities

  • Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while following proper procedures for different types of fabrics.
  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established guidelines.
  • Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning processes, including dry cleaning techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Assisted Living experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
