Job Description

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and respond to security-related events as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor the premises for security-related concerns and report any unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Work closely with property management and Allied Universal team members to address client needs and site-specific requirements.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while on patrol within the commercial real estate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Lifting more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
