Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills, including electrical work and mechanical knowledge. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Qualifications-Job highlights

· High School diploma or equivalent

· 2+ years' experience in one or more of the areas

· Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working on gears, gearboxes, chains, bearings etc

· Ability to read electrical schematics and efficiently use a multi meter

· Understanding of electrical systems such as 480-volt and 24-volt circuits

· Solid experience with fluid pumps and AC/DC motors

· Displays initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision

· Understanding of pneumatic systems such as solenoids, cylinders, and diaphragm pumps

· Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, with minimal supervision

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must be able to work outside during inclement weather if needed

· Must be able to use required Personal Protective Equipment

· Able to work off of a ladder

· Able to lift 50Lbs.

Responsibilities

· Monitor a diverse array of production systems and equipment to identify any issues

· Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

· Complete routine preventative maintenance thoroughly and on time

· Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues

· Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues

· Understand and follow all Safety procedures such as lockout-tagout and wearing proper PPE

· Must be willing to work overtime as needed

· Responsible for the repair, trouble shooting, and maintenance of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems

· This position reports to the maintenance manager

MO-FRI 7AM-4PM first shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
