Position Overview

We are seeking a Skilled Construction Laborer with hands-on experience in both residential and commercial construction environments. The ideal candidate is versatile, motivated, and comfortable working on a variety of projects—from high-end home builds to commercial improvements. 'Footings to Finish' work experience and capability, a plus; workers with leadership skills and experience are needed, as well.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily construction activities including framing, demolition, site prep, concrete, and finish work.
  • Support carpenters, masons, and other skilled tradesmen as needed.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools, and maintain equipment in good working condition.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  • Load, unload, and move materials efficiently.
  • Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors.
  • Take initiative and work independently when appropriate.
  • Have a teachable, positive attitude with a desire to grow.
  • Be able to work well with all foremen and co-workers, and treat those in authority over you, with respect.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
  • Familiarity with building materials, methods, and best practices for both new construction and remodeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in varying conditions.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus (training available).
  • Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Drug and alcohol free, no substance abuse will be tolerated. Drug testing mandatory.
