Job Summary
The Technical Product Analyst – AMB & Loyalty, CEC plays a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing the services and systems that empower CEC associates to deliver outstanding experiences for Marriott's most dedicated guests, Ambassadors. This position is deeply involved in the ongoing development and transformation of the loyalty platform, ensuring that new enhancements align with Marriott's commitment to customer satisfaction and engagement. The analyst works closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, engineering, and business stakeholders, to collaboratively define, manage, and refine business, product, and technical requirements. Leveraging agile methodologies and best practices, the analyst not only ensures that key systems are optimized for seamless associate and guest interactions, but also proactively identifies improvement opportunities to further elevate the guest experience. Through effective communication, requirements analysis, and functional design leadership, the analyst contributes to the strategic evolution of Marriott's loyalty offerings and supports the successful implementation of innovative solutions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification in a technology-related major.
  • Experience integrating and balancing priorities for multiple stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of product management processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate requirements analysis and design sessions.
  • Experience converting business needs into technology requirements.
  • Prior experience supporting Marriott CEC technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting loyalty or customer engagement platforms.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Broad technical experience across infrastructure, network, applications, data, and security.
  • Experience identifying and analyzing alternative solutions to complex problems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve unusual, difficult problems.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Gather requirements, create product roadmaps, and prioritize enhancements for AMB and Loyalty systems supporting CEC associates.
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand strategy and value for loyalty and ambassador services.
  • Define product objectives and key performance indicators for loyalty capabilities.
  • Represent stakeholder needs during backlog refinement and sprint planning.
  • Research and master technology tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Facilitate requirements analysis, functional design, and documentation for loyalty platform changes.
  • Lead functional design demonstrations to validate approach with stakeholders.
  • Identify creative solutions to business requirements and recommend best alternatives.
  • Work with external vendors and partners to evaluate and implement loyalty solutions.
  • Document functional, integration, and testing requirements for loyalty systems.
  • Support training and field support groups prior to new releases.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance business partnership and planning processes for loyalty and ambassador programs.
