The Sundance Foundation Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Hillsborough County, dedicated to empowering women and families through community wellness, survivor support, and education. We are seeking volunteer Board Members to join our growing leadership team and help strengthen our programs, partnerships, and impact across the Tampa Bay region.

This is an unpaid, volunteer position requiring approximately 2–4 hours per month, including quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person). Board Members play a hands-on role in guiding the organization's direction, supporting fundraising efforts, and representing the Foundation within the community.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities

  • Participate in quarterly board meetings and annual planning sessions.
  • Review and provide feedback on strategic plans, budgets, and program proposals.
  • Assist with fundraising, grant identification, and sponsor outreach.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the Foundation's mission through networking and community events.
  • Support the organization in achieving transparency, compliance, and strong governance.
  • Help identify partnerships with local businesses, schools, and wellness organizations.
  • Contribute professional insight in your area of expertise (finance, law, education, marketing, public health, or community outreach).
  • Provide leadership in developing and evaluating new initiatives and impact goals.
  • Ensure all actions align with the mission to support women, children, and families affected by crisis, trauma, or hardship.

Commitment
