Guest Services Representative / Front Desk Agent

Full-time/​Part-time

Red Roof Plus Inn & Suites Virginia Beach Seaside is seeking a Guest Services Representative/Front Desk Agent to join our team at 1005 Pacific Avenue, Virginia Beach, 23451.

Responsibilities:

  • Always be courteous and pleasant to the guests and co-workers.
  • Guarantee the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  • Make sure all check-in, check-in, check-out, securing payment, and taking phone bookings are completed in an extremely organized, efficient, and smooth way.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address any guest issues or problems with the property.
  • Take responsibility when receiving guests' complaints or comments, resolving any problems to their satisfaction.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and local areas of interest.
  • Thoroughly verify and adjust billing.
  • Write down any issues and communicate them to the appropriate department in a timely fashion.
  • Tend to the phone in an attentive and professional manner.
  • Keep the office and lobby area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

  • Must ​possess a good command of the English language and the ability to communicate clearly in person and via telephone.
  • Understand the importance of teamwork, even when working individually.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Morning, evening, holidays, and weekend availability is required.
  • Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guests and proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Good grasp of the Spanish language or willingness to use tools/translators to understand.
