As a Product Designer II on our Social Experiences team, you will be an integral part of the company's overall growth strategy - being able to work on building the best possible social experiences to connect users in meaningful ways. This includes driving user growth by improving our existing on- and off-platform sharing flows, building new ways to share and new types of content to share with your friends and family, and investing in our collaboration and community tools to drive user retention.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with your product and engineering counterparts to work on both the short-term and long-term product execution of the roadmap for the Social Experiences team
  • Be comfortable in a fast paced, iterative, experimental, and data driven environment
  • Work with and manage feedback from multiple stakeholders across Growth and Core teams, as well as engineering, product and design leadership
  • Uphold and inspire a high level of design execution throughout the team

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in deisgn, a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working on complex user and metrics inspired projects
  • Proven track record envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products in close partnership with product management and engineering
  • Visual design experience within product
  • Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and other graphic design principles
  • Attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the product
  • High level of self-awareness with a growth mindset that is focused on impact
  • Excellent product thinking and UX design skills
  • Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems they're solving
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills and ability bring cross-functional partners along in the journey
  • Experience in balancing speed and quality with a focus on driving impact through both optimizations and 0-1 product development
  • High level of self-awareness with a growth mindset that is focused on impact
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills and a passion for experimentation, data and systems thinking a plus
  • Experience working on social features, metrics-inspired design (growth teams), a plus

In-Office Requirement Statement

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
