We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Director of Emergency Room to lead and inspire our dedicated team at a 100-bed acute care hospital, located in the scenic and adventurous region of Arizona. Job Summary:

As the Director of Emergency Room, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative oversight and direction for our fast-paced Emergency Department. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring high-quality nursing care and patient satisfaction. You will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, addressing nursing challenges and interpreting hospital policies to meet and exceed patient care standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, with a strong preference for candidates holding a Master's degree.
  • Certifications: Must have ACLS certification upon hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is also required.
  • Licensure: Must hold a current Arizona Registered Nurse license or a Compact State Registered Nurse license.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in middle or upper management in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Preferred: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification.
