As a key player behind the bar, you'll craft signature drinks, manage orders efficiently, and foster a lively atmosphere in both fine dining and nightlife settings. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing registers at the end of each shift.
  • Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy hours or catering events to coordinate food service and ensure seamless guest service.
  • Uphold responsible beverage service practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote a safe environment.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts confidently without compromising quality or safety.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
  • Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus for managing large groups or special events.
  • Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting can enhance your ability to create unique drinks that wow guests.
