7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans. The RN will also manage intubated patients and titrate pressors as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies as per established protocols.
  • Assist with intubation, arterial line insertion, central line insertion, and chest tube insertion.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current AK RN License is required.
  • Must have experience with EPIC EMR.
  • Ability to independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience recovering patients from open heart surgeries.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
