Position Summary:
The Chemical Cleaning technician will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, and handling chemicals
 
Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set-up all necessary cleaning equipment such as low-pressure, high volume pumps and circulators in accordance with operational, training, guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
  • Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heaving industrial settings.
  • Install, fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, chemical circulators, and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies, which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.
 
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • No restrictions - must be legally capable of driving a manual shift transmission.
  • Must have a TWIC card (Transportation Workers Identification Card) or be able capable of obtaining one.
  • Must be able to pass drug UA & Hair follicle
  • Must have never failed a DISA drug Screen in the past and all required background checks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be capable of travelling for extended periods of time. Per Diem, Hotel and transportation will be provided.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments and at high elevation.
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
  • Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to pass a physical.
  • Will be exposed to all weather conditions.
  • U.S. Passport is a plus as we perform international work , too
  • General labor experience is a plus.
  • Experience in chemical cleaning chemistry is a plus

 
(This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime. Applicants must be able to work out of town 50% of time, pass a drug screen and all required background screening/driving record.)
