Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Pre-fab Steel and Iron Workers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing steel components in a construction environment. Your expertise will help ensure the structural integrity and safety of large-scale projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge fabrication techniques, precision tools, and a dedicated team committed to excellence. Your skills in blueprint reading, welding, and mechanical assembly will be vital in delivering high-quality results efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural steel parts.
  • Operate forklifts, rigging gear, and other heavy machinery safely to move material.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by properly handling hand tools and power tools while following safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality control.
  • Follow all safety guidelines related to scaffolding, rigging, welding operations, and equipment use to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven construction site experience with a focus on steel fabrication or ironwork projects.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and other fabrication
  • Experience operating, forklifts, rigging gear or similar heavy machinery safely.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
