We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join Copilot Studio's AI Orchestration team, which is responsible for leveraging and optimizing generative AI models to perform actions, make decisions, create responses, and more within an agent. Our orchestration capabilities power millions of both conversational and autonomous agents every day as part of the Copilot Studio service, and allows agents to integrate with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Teams, IVR/voice products, power agents on the web, and much more. With the rapid pace of AI innovation, our team is uniquely positioned within Microsoft and the industry to analyze, experiment with, and productize new AI capabilities.


As a Principal Software Engineer, your role will be to provide technical leadership for a wide variety of AI workstreams, build features with high quality and maintainability alongside teams of other engineers, operate our AI services, and coach engineers on the team. You will work across Microsoft to help teams build agents, and you will work with customers to determine how Copilot Studio and agents fit into their AI strategies.
