Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and their pets warmly, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere in the store.
  • Actively listen to customer needs to provide tailored advice on products, nutrition, and general pet care.
  • Assist customers in locating products, placing special orders, and understanding the benefits of our merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both pets and people.
  • Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers and their pets to encourage repeat visits and foster a loyal community.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge and pet care trends through ongoing training.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Required:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; you must be comfortable and engaging when talking with people.
  • A genuine passion for animals and a strong desire to help them and their owners.
  • A positive, customer-first attitude with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be available to work at least one weekend day.
